Rebekah really, really liked living on her own, but she’d never admit how lonely she was. She was used to always having her brothers— or at least Niklaus around, and she’d hardly seen him since they had their fall out. She missed him, but she was still pretty upset about what happened. She had always been stubborn, so she wasn’t about to simply forgive him. Had it been anything or anyone else, she’d be over it by now. Not Stefan. He was her one thing, and Nik couldn’t even let her have him. Though she knew that from the moment she chose Stefan over her own brother back in the 1920’s. Only now does she fully understand why he had daggered her. It wasn’t fair. Rebekah was a prisoner in her own life, every decision dictated by her brother— or brothers. Her family was the only reason she was still in town, honestly. Things would be so much easier if she didn’t have to stick around and watch Melissa act all lovey dovey with Stefan, or Katherine and Elena get jealous. She lost Stefan— or more so he was stolen away from her, and what’s done is done. You can’t change the past.
She sent a quick text to Stefan with her address, asking him to come over, then tossed her phone onto her bed. She bit lightly on her bottom as she glanced in the mirror, only having to adjust her pincurls a little. Taylor really had done an amazing job on her hair. Once it was perfected, she changed into a simple form fitting dress. It hugged her curves just right, and she smirked at her reflection. Her smirk grew into a genuine, sweet smile when she grabbed a string of pearls. Stefan had gotten them for her, but she hadn’t worn them much. They were real, and they meant something to her. She put the necklace on and headed into the living room to wait for her friend.

Rebekah had made a promise to a girl a long time ago, and was too busy to go through with it. She wasn’t the type to break a promise if she could help it, so she was going to go through with that. Plus, she wanted to pin curl her hair anyway, so why not teach someone else the art as well? The 20’s were classy and beautiful, and the current styles were… slutty and unoriginal. She rolled her eyes at the thought as she grabbed her bag. She couldn’t help but giggle as Simba came over and started pawing at her foot, wanting attention. “I’ll be back later, and I have a friend for you to meet.” She bit her lip thinking about it. She was excited for Stefan to see her place, but really she just wanted to see him. She missed him. A lot.
She shot Taylor a quick text letting her know she was coming over. She was a little wary about going to her brothers house, but it was whatever. The drive was short, and in no time she was parking in front of the Mikaelson residence. She grabbed her bag and walked to the front door, letting herself in. “Taylor?” She called out, walking over to a couch. She sat down and propped her feet up on the table, making herself comfortable. The girl thought they were friends or something, and who knows? Maybe they could be. Rebekah could definitely use some friends considering the fact that she was still upset with Daniel, and Stefan was hardly around. That left her with her brothers, and Gwen and Mike, who were usually at Daniels house. Making a new friend would be good.
